Terms & Conditions

By downloading, registering, or using the TiP Wallet application or website (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Transfer Instant Payment Ltd ("TiP", "we", "our", "us"), a licensed money service business.

To use TiP Wallet you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be a resident of a country where the Service is available
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Not have been previously suspended or removed from the Service
• Comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including your PIN and any authentication tokens. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Promptly update your information to keep it accurate and complete
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
• Never share your PIN or authentication credentials with any third party

TiP will never ask for your PIN via phone, email, or SMS. Any such request should be treated as fraudulent and reported to us immediately.

TiP Wallet allows you to:

• Send and receive money to/from other TiP users
• Pay bills and recharge airtime
• Make payments to merchants via QR code
• Request money from other users

All transactions are subject to applicable fees as displayed in the app at the time of the transaction. We reserve the right to modify fees with prior notice. Transaction limits may apply based on your KYC verification tier.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Conduct fraudulent, deceptive, or illegal transactions
• Fund terrorist activities, money laundering, or other criminal activities
• Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any spending or transaction limits
• Use the Service for commercial purposes without our express written consent
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its systems
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users of the Service
• Violate any applicable law or regulation

TiP Wallet is a regulated financial service. We are required by law to verify the identity of our users and to monitor transactions for suspicious activity. You agree to:

• Submit accurate identity documents when requested
• Cooperate fully with our compliance and verification processes
• Accept that we may restrict, suspend, or close your account if we are unable to verify your identity or if we detect suspicious activity

All content within the Service, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software, is the property of TiP or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TiP shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount of fees paid by you to TiP in the three months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TiP, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, TiP, third parties, or for any other reason.

You may close your account at any time by contacting support. Any outstanding balance will be settled in accordance with our applicable procedures.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Lagos, Nigeria.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes via the app or email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
